Metal Roof Restoration
Metal roof coatings are specialized coatings that are applied to the surface of metal roofs to improve their performance and extend their lifespan. These coatings are typically made from high-quality polymers, acrylics, or silicone materials that create a durable, weather-resistant barrier between the metal roof and the elements.
Metal roof coatings can provide a number of benefits for building owners and facility managers, including:
Waterproofing: Metal roof coatings can help prevent water from penetrating the surface of the roof, which can cause leaks and water damage.
Reflectivity: Metal roof coatings can reflect sunlight and reduce heat absorption, which can help lower cooling costs and improve energy efficiency.
Rust prevention: Metal roof coatings can help prevent rust and corrosion on metal roofs, which can extend the lifespan of the roof.
Appearance: Metal roof coatings can improve the appearance of older metal roofs, making them look newer and more attractive.
Overall, metal roof coatings are a cost-effective way to extend the lifespan of metal roofs and improve their performance, while also providing a number of other benefits for building owners and facility managers.

Product & Process
The 3 main products used in roof restoration are Acrylic, Silicone, and Urethane. The metal roof surface must be prepared properly. We recommend an acid wash to obtain the best possible bond. The next step would be checking for loose fasteners and applying mastic to all seams. Once the prep work is finished the roof is ready for the primer coat. These products are generally applied with a sprayer or paint roller. The last thing to complete the project is the top coat. This coat seals the roof making a monolithic membrane on top of the metal roof.
